The name Summer Isn’t Real came out of a conversation about the weather. About how there’s something to the summer climate—both the heat and the break from regular life—that makes things feel unreal.
This EP is about staying young and growing up, about obsession and connection, about feeling too much and feeling too little. It’s about the liminal spaces in life and love, the in-betweens that we don’t always have the right words for.
